At a glance
Start with a well prepared enquiry. Your individual plan then sets out treatment, expected visits and aftercare.
What can be prepared before you travel?
Existing reports and images help with initial orientation. You can provide documents using the secure transfer page on our main website. A definitive diagnosis and treatment decision require an examination in person at ZAK.
- Which teeth are missing or causing concerns?
- What treatment has already been suggested?
- Which X-rays, reports and treatment plans are available?
- What medication do you take and what medical conditions should we know about?
- Which consultation language would you prefer and when can you travel?
Arrange visits around the treatment plan
Examination, surgery, reviews and making the restoration may require separate stays. We discuss which appointments can be combined after diagnostics. Coordinating appointments cannot replace the healing periods you need.
Discuss travel bookings and your return journey with us. For more extensive procedures, sedation or general anaesthesia, we also discuss a companion, recovery and the conditions for onward travel.
Practice and hotel in the same building
The practice is on the ground floor of Hotel Catalonia Berlin Mitte at Köpenicker Straße 80–82. Staying in the same building can reduce transfers between treatment and accommodation. Heinrich-Heine-Straße station on the U8 underground line is close by.
Accommodation, availability and travel costs are arranged separately. Tell us about your practical requirements so that we can coordinate appointments where clinically appropriate.
Agree aftercare before returning home
We discuss which reviews should take place at ZAK and which care may be appropriately arranged near your home. Responsibilities, necessary records and what to do if problems arise should be clear before you leave.
Regular cleaning and reviews remain important after the final teeth have been fitted. If symptoms develop, seek timely dental assessment rather than waiting for a later travel date.
A coordinated team for your restoration
Andreea Krauss has worked as a dentist since 1997 and has practised implant dentistry continuously since 2006. She holds a Master of Science in Periodontology and Implantology. Together with the surgical team and practice laboratory, ZAK connects planning, surgery and the restoration.
For international patients, your preferred consultation language is agreed in advance according to team availability. This helps us address clinical questions and practical arrangements early.
Frequently asked questions
Can I come from another city or country?
Yes. Contact us before travelling so that records, examination and possible next steps can be prepared.
Can treatment be decided from my records alone?
Records provide initial orientation. A binding clinical plan requires an examination in person and the necessary diagnostics.
Are travel and accommodation part of the dental treatment price?
Travel and accommodation are arranged separately. Clarify these items independently of your dental treatment plan.
Which language can I use for my consultation?
Let us know your preferred language when you contact us. Personal support is coordinated according to availability within the team.
